Solid Performer
By lonewolf | on Thursday, January 18, 2018
Fusion SE model with Eco boost Engine has excellent pull power. I have been driving it for 4 years and I dont have any complaints yet. I do regular maintenance like Oil Change every 6-8 months .Back seat riders feel comfortable and its a very solid highway rider. The build looks heavy, tough and seals the highway noise perfectly. I never had problem with battery/ignition even during the coldest weather . I love this vehicle for its style and reliability.… - 5.0
Great car, great features, great price.

Have owned my Fusion since July of 2017 and I love it. The Ecoboost engine, another name for turbo, has plenty of pep, acceleration, and gets great gas mileage. The interior of the car looks great and has enough options and gadgets to make most folks happy. The steering wheel is, oddly, one thing I really like. The controls on it and how it feels in the hand are great. Sure, you could go spend 50k plus on other mid size sedans if you are looking only to impress folks but the look and feel of the Fusion will not only impress others but will impress you as well. I suggest a test drive. For all the options, select the Titanium edition.… - 5.0
Feels more expensive than it is.
By Umberto | on Sunday, May 13, 2018
Ive owned my 2013 Fusion SE with a the 2.0L Eco-Boost for over 5 years and it has never showed any sign of failure. The notorious Florida weather cooked the factory battery in 3 1/2 years time and an interior grab handle spring broke (so it sags). Now that the bad stuff is out of the way, this car definitely hits above its weight class. The power out of the 2.0 Eco-Boost leaves nothing to be desired whether youre merging, passing on a two lane road, or coming off the line in a hurry. Ive averaged 26.5 mpg over 5 years with mixed driving. At times, the 6 speed automatic transmission can be a tiny bit dim-witted. If you apply more throttle though, it quickly knows what is needed to be done. The same goes for when youre just lightly cruising. Its the in-between driving style that it occasionally will act-up like other traditional automatics. Considering the power it has and the weight of the car, Im impressed. The interior switches, buttons, screens, and electronics have been flawless so far. My only real complaint is the Microsoft SYNC system. Its been remedied in later models (2016+ I believe) but its pretty laggy and slow. The voice commands work very well though. I use them more than the touchscreen to save time and frustration. Im very impressed with the long term wear and tear of the materials and construction of the items you touch as a driver. As previously stated, the overhead grab handle in the rear passenger seat no longer springs back up but its a cheap fix I cant be bothered with. The plastics and soft touch dash havent developed any squeaks or rattles and nothing has faded. Excellent overall feel. The exterior styling was a major plus when looking to replace my old car. It has a very dominating and sporty design with a touch of class. Its almost like it was designed to stand out rather than blend in. Even though I got it in grey, Im frequently complimented on how nice the car looks (still). There are a few nit-picky things about the exterior Id change if it only took a snap of the fingers such as adding H.I.D. headlamps, and lessen the gap between the trunk and rear bumper. Im sure its designed that way for a reason but its a personal pet peeve. All of the doors still feel very sturdy and close with a thud and road noise is minimal for a steel sub-framed vehicle. Overall, if youre looking for a feature packed, sporty, roomy, huge trunked, great looking, fuel efficient, powerful, reliable, safe sedan... look no further. Edit: For some ridiculous reason, KBB removes apostrophes so pardon the errors.…
